These names are evolving to a new structure that will allow the identification of the conditions of use. These names will appear as current tyre products are renewed, for example MICHELIN XTE2 will replaced by the MICHELIN X® Multi™ T.

This new marking is organised in to thre zones:
- The Michelin brand
- The tyre range: identifying conditions of use
- The dimension and position of the tyre: the position on the vehicle

This labeling will facilitate product recognition and understanding of its use

Identification of the axle position assists the service providor
